At Bartell Chiropractic Life Center, we want you to feel fully prepared for your visit, so you know exactly what to expect when you walk through our doors.

When you arrive for your appointment, our friendly receptionist will greet you and ensure you’re all set. To help us understand your pain and medical history, you’ll be asked to fill out some paperwork upon arrival.

The paperwork will ask about your family history because certain health issues can be hereditary—though that doesn’t mean they can’t be treated. We’ll also gather information about your health habits and any previous medical conditions to make sure we have a complete picture of your overall health. This helps us provide the best possible care for you.

Depending on your situation, we may or may not require X-rays. In most cases, we take X-rays to get a clear view of your spine, but we only do this if you’re a new patient or if there’s a change in your condition.

After your initial examination, which may involve some movement and possibly lying down to help us better understand what’s going on, you’ll meet with our caring and experienced chiropractor. Be sure to share any pain or symptoms you’re experiencing so we can address them fully.

The chiropractor will then discuss your condition and treatment options with you, and together, we’ll develop a plan to help you feel your best.
